Diagnosis of COPD

• The diagnosis is painless.
• The doctor or the nurse will examine you
• You will have to do some simple breathing tests, called spirometry
• They will ask you about your breathing and your health
• They will ask you about your home and the places you have worked
• They will ask you whether you are or were a smoker
